Let me introduce myself.

I am Jolanda de Vries and I am an independent entrepreneur. I inherited my love for antique items from my parents. My father was a restorer of antique furniture and I started restoring and selling old chandeliers and antique lighting. This was 35 years ago.

At first I was at antique fairs and markets and sold from my own home. I also had a garage.

The chandeliers and lamps hung low there because of the low ceiling, so I was happy that I could rent a beautiful business space on the Turfsingel.

I have had this business space at Turfsingel 15 in Groningen for 30 years.

I can hang the chandeliers and lamps there nicely and customers can view them.

Now with the internet era I also have a website of course. Customers can do preliminary work on the website and then come to me to view them.

 

You can also order by the website. They will then be sent or delivered to your address for a fee.​

As a service, I also visit customers at home to see how the chandelier or lamp looks. I often bring 2 with me. Then the customer can choose. This is experienced as very pleasant, because there is often doubt about how big it should be.

 

I am open on Friday and Saturday for viewing and for sales. You can also make an appointment on another day.

Every day I am restoring and looking for beautiful chandeliers or antique lamps. They are authentic and fit in both an old and a new interior.

The chandeliers and lamps are energy-efficient because they are suitable for LED lamps.

 

I also restore for private individuals and companies. This includes: cleaning, replacing or checking wiring and adding missing parts.

For restoration, you can send a photo of the lamp and I will then give you a price quote.
